Andrew Radford
Music Director Andrew Radford was born and educated in California. Since 1980, he has kept two musical lives, one as a professional bassoonist and the other as a music educator. He has performed with virtually every orchestra in Southern California and on hundreds of movie scores, including Mission Impossible: 3 and The Incredibles. He has performed with The Who, The Dixie Chicks and Neil Diamond. For the last thireen years, Radford has played Principal Bassoon with the Santa Barbara Symphony and performed as soloist with the orchestra in March 2005. Radford has held teaching positions at CSUF, Occidental College and currently is bassoon professor at UCSB. Radford is Music Director of the Santa Barbara Youth Symphony and Education Coordinator for the Ojai Music Festival

Amy Hagen
Artistic Director Amy Hagen is a Ventura County native. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from UCSB and a Masters of Music degree from LSU, where she performed with the Baton Rouge Symphony and the New Orleans Symphony. Ms. Hagen has been a member of the Santa Barbara Symphony for seventeen years and freelances with many other local musical organizations. She has held teaching positions at Ventura College, Santa Barbara City College, the Waldorf School in Santa Barbara and the Thacher School. She created the Got Strings? Program in the Ojai Unified School District and currently maintains a private studio of over 50 students. She and her husband moved to Ojai in 2000 to raise their children, Holly 11, and Benjamin, 9.
